What made me happy as a kid,
Makes me happy even today.
Some Ice cream and some crazy rides.Some laughs, some playing in the sand.
Staying up while being dead asleep.
Speeding a bicycle through a puddle.
Hide and seek, Balloons and fountains.
Swings, climbing trees and bruised knees.
Sunrise, sunsets and step out in summer heat.
Windy day, cold day and rainy day.
Chasing birds and butterflies.
And staring at fish inside a pond.
That's happiness to me.

Does our idea of happiness ever change? I think, my idea of happiness never changed.
Author's Note: A quick post.. Trying to sail through the challenge with really tight schedule.

Great question ... does my idea of happiness change? I think for me, the answer is yes. As I've grown older and watched my children grow, my sense of happiness has changed. I feel very blessed.

Happiness to me is seeing my family happy, looking at my yonger brother grow into a responsible man......hearing him talking wisdom which I craved so much....hearing my father when he talks really sense sometimes....looking into my mom's eyes finding that selfless love...and meeting my wife after a week or two :)

Most of what made me happy as a child, still makes me happy at 54. But I've picked up other, new things along the way that can make me happy. And I left a few things behind, because I found their happiness was just an illusion.
