Unsaid: A-to-Z Challenge [24 April 2014]

Source: www.thehiyl.com
Unsaid were those words, that had to cross mountains of ego.
They were left unsaid as they had to stumble through tough & rough terrains.
They were unheard as they had to swim through waves of judgments.

They wanted to be understood, without coming out.
The once that were out, were further dissected.
Only to misconstrued the meaning further.

Those words that exist.Got soaked in dry sun on a barren land.
Even when they tried their best, they could not find a way out.

The words which were trying to break barriers.
Did not find the right channel to proceed.
Those words were suffocated while they fought to make a way out.

Author's Note: Intentions are often understood wrong, not because of words that were said, but because of those that were left unsaid. I wish that the world could read beyond white and black. I wish there was no need to talk grey with anyone to make them understand what is on your mind.

P.S.: This often happens with me, when I find myself misunderstood. That misunderstanding comes for not what was said, but from what was left unsaid.

P.P.S.: Thank you all for your concerns. I am recovering!

  1. So true sometimes we misread people..If one we would speak when we have to without weighing so much, atleast at crucial times, in matters of the heart or with friends mostly

  2. And we dont like plain whites or plain blacks! We all love to hear greys, a buttered diplomacy, a hidden hyporcracy and then pure whites or blacks are left unsaid, untouched and unwelcomed..... Nice one on unsaid words:-)

    1. That is what the society accepts. A simply no is not appreciated but a no laced with excuses is. Thanks.

  3. A person simply can't make snap judgments because often those judgments are wrong because we haven't considered there are things we really don't know.
