Call for peace!

I don't hate Pakistan, neither do I love her!

I don't hate probably because I happen to have refuge ancestory, who came to Delhi during partition. Since childhood I have been narrated stories of how my grand-parents braved crossing border, how many lost their lives during partition, how some witnessed rape, were helpless, they could not blame anyone! Some of my relative still live in Pakistan as during the time of partition they could not come to India. I might sound similar to many fellows. I don't love because I have never been to my ancestral land, don't know how it smells early in the morning. I am not familiar with the narrow lanes of its cities. But I guess that once I will go there I will feel familiarity with the country courtesy the tales that have been naratted down generations.

The ongoing IPL controversy has made me to publish this post on how much I hate my own country men. People like Parveen Togoria, Bal ThackerayRaj Thackeray, Narendra Modi; organisations like RSS, VHP, BJP, MNS! The domocile politics shaping into communal big ticket vote banks, which time after time issues fatwas on Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to go to UP and Pakistan respectively. The mob mentality of localities who spread violence across Mumbai. Are they feeding Indian populace on what to speak? I wonder how can they have a strong political base in Maharashtra? I am very angry.. and wish could do something about it. I hope that Judicial Activism come of age in India in interpreting the constitutional rights, fundamental right where a Shah Rukh Khan calls for peace amongst India and Pakistan by inviting Pakistani cricketers to play at IPLs. Isn't it a cute friendly gesture, a call for peace?

Author's Note: Big cities need people with big hearts. I am a delhiete and extend an invitation to all Indians to come to Delhi. So next time when some tom dick harry like Bal / Raj  Tharkey (its no typo error, I mean it :p) suggests someone in a shabby tone to exit Maharashtra, Delhi welcomes them with an open arms!

  1. great post Shine.but it is not justified to hate India because of some foolish people like Bal and Raj thackery. I hate them too and if given chance will deport those good for nothing people from not only Maharashtra bt India. They can welcome the terrorist in the city bt not biharis...bulshit

  2. very true shine... the only resolution to this decade problem is the way the bilateral relationships and formal talks paving the way forward and is expected to take place in near time. Yes, to very much an extant what diverts the same point of concern to reach its optimum level is the internal war of caste and religion based politics prominent in both the countries. Infact, what i see is if the conflict is abolished in between these two nations we don't have to spend worrying for any aspect. No matter if it is "China" or "US".

  7. I agree completely Shine. My father came from Pakistan himself and so I can say with certainty that Pakistanis are not bad. Neither are the Indians.

Its the politics which is dirty. I can say with surety that if there is a will on both sides, all issues can be resolved. The money being pumped in by both sides to keep the issue going so that more money keeps pumping in.

  8. I beleive you were always specific.Either you want to express yourself as a secular or it is a wisdom flowing out of your keyboard.Actually i am not agree with you.I know lot of people who talk...and you are one of them.Nothing is going to change with the help of columns.I would like to request all people who often visit your blog that you need to come out of ages to understand these issues. It may be politically driven but to an extent this vengence is there from the start of mankind.Even history itself has lots of example about the evil and saint. And Evil has to be dead rather that change of soul.If you have so much concern then you must visit all over your country to understand that there is diversified culture and thinking. If you really want to change them come out of internet because its access is only 15% in India.
My only request is dont blame individuals.......they have their own way to visualise things....above all....kaisi hain aap?

  9. @ Samit - I agree with you, people who have had ancestry in Pakistan understand it better!

@ Kumar - to begin with, let me tell you that I am in good health and spirits. Thanks for ur disagreement!

Well, most of the things I could not understand from ur comment. like - "Nothing is going to change with the help of columns" ~ I don't intend to change anything either, I just express my feelings through my blog, and I write what I believe is right!

Yes there is whole lot of politically driven motives, evils die at the end in Indian mythology, if you go by Greek mythology they have the mankind sacrificing in the end.

Well ur comment actually invites a new blog post. So dedicatedly follow it ;)
