Opaque Feelings
(O on Day 15 of A to Z Challenge 2015).

Bottled up,
stocked in,
bolted and
fermenting.

No way out
to vent it,
all ends here
at the circular
glass edges.

They do not
come out
and keep
moving in
circles.

What was
fresh, jubilant
and fragrant
is now
piling venom.

It is rotting
and stinking
in paucity
of  love.

It is turning
into piles of
abundant
nothingness
and opacity.

Author's Note: When intense feelings are messed with they turn opaque. One who feels too much will end up growing opacity of feelings and one who messed it will keep looking for breaking past the opacity.

Don't know who messed more and who felt more - the one who loved or the one who could get distant.

P.S.: Opaque Feelings for O - April 17, 2015. My fifteenth post for the A to Z April Challenge.

Perks of falling in love with the wrong person

Many of you will relate to this topic, because at one time or the other we have all been head over heels for the wrong one. Some of us were stuck in for longer than recommended. This recommended duration comes from people who ask you how could you be with him for so long?
The good times you have had with someone you love was the reason you were together, count the bad times - those were not meant to be there.
Source: http://ih2.redbubble.net
But there are some perks to it, so if you curse yourself for being with that jerk for longer than you should have, read on:

The battle of Love Quotations and Love Rules

Those fancy love quotations are just for those real love stories, they are not the rules of relationship.
The only rules of a love relation is respect for each other, for yourself and for the two of you. The moment that balance is let lose the relationship will fall. Now when you will be in that cursing mode, remember that you have learnt your lesson and have to find that person who possesses real qualities, reciprocates your admiration, accepts you and both of you have mutual respect.

You found out where exactly you went wrong

Being let down repeatedly by him/her and accepting it was wrong on your part.
If you are the one sobbing right now, the chances of you being taken for granted are higher. And if that is the case, then you may also narrate endless incidents about what you did for him/her. Yes there would have been situations where the other one would have reciprocates, but to no match. So you might have realized how powerfully truthful was that little voice in your head.

You learn that you are the center of your world

Your dreams about going for a vacation with him/her are yet to be realized. May be you have also dreamt about your kids, a happy family, et al. And you have held that idea so dear to you that you cannot just let it go. Now you know that nothing will count if the other person is the wrong one. Now you know those red flag situations and will not fall prey to such tricks in life ever and say NO when required.

Once you will clear the clutter in your head, you will get over the fear of unknown, and accept yourself completely. Display the spirit of Dew - Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai (victory lies ahead what you fear).

Author's Note: So that little or long relationship experiment was over (had it been a successful relationship, I would have termed it relationship investment), you know yourself better. Your illusions would have been clear by now and ultimately you will have no time and energy to curse him/her and leave it on karma for hurting you.

P.S: When you were with that wrong person and someone asked you why you love him and her, can you recall your answer? Tell me in the comment box.

As I think of you

As I think of love, I think of you!
For all the beautiful things in the world,
I reckon it was your style.
For all the best feelings in the world,
I reckon it was when you were around.
For all the meaningful words in the world,
I reckon were the ones when you said them.

For the years that we parted, I have realized!
It was never you who was special,
But I was the way you made me feel.
It was not you who I fell in love with,
But your charm did the magic.
It was never you who I missed,
But your voice just went amiss.

Author's Note: Going back in time! This one comes from the old files.

Rigmarole!

Question: If given an option for an eight day week, which day, out of all in a week would you want to repeat?

The Friday morning is a happy morning, you wait for the day to end and facebook status reads TGIF.. No hard work today and all the tasks get dragged for the weekend... You stay up till late night, watch a movie or too.. chit chat with friends and make plans for the weekend.. the weekend celebrations begin from friday night.

Saturday morning is when you realize how messed-up your room is. Everything that you have used during the week is lying next to your bed, on the table and in your bags, the wardrobe is all in a state of dizzy...You realize that if you have managed things better, if you kept every stuff at a proper place, than life would be easier.

On a Sunday you find time out of busy shopping schedule, catching up with friends, meeting the grand mom, doing the weekend grooming and et al... Sunday evenings when you have a face-pack on, you start arranging the messed-up stuff in your room. You are tired, but you have decided that you will cut the clutter and clean it up.

The morning blues experienced on the Monday, take a backseat as you feel good about you clean and organised room. You get up and get ready for work. Since you had already decided what to wear, you don't messu the with wardrobe and the undecisiveness. For the day, you bid a good bye to your room, you tell it that you will miss it and you love it the most in this world. In the evening you open the door and see it all neat and clean.

The feeling is very similar to the feeling a day before is when Tuesday's sun knock from the window. During the day, you are told that have to get some documents, and you remember that you had seen it and kept it at a proper place. Although you are confused between a few places :-/. Evening is as neat as it was a day before. But the dried clothes have found their place in the wardrobe, and it looks a little messy.. But as long as its not visible to me, its okay! But what about the documents, especially with this friend's calling up, you delay taking out the documents for the next day's morning.

You get up a bit early on Wednesday as you have to get those document. You feel proud that your cleaning drive worked well and a hi-five for keeping the documents at the right place. As you check out all the places which could have been one of the proper places for the documents, but you dont find it anywhere. You find it at the most unlikly places, as you had put in a lot of effort to keep those important documents at the right place. Your wardrobe is messed up.. But that is ok, you promise that you will get it back in shape in the evening. In the evening, you realize that your nails are chapped, you try to recollect where did you keep the personal grooming kit. You end up messing the dressing table, throw everything on the table and start working on your nail. You wear a nice nail paint shade.. As the nail paint is wet, you cannot fix the mess tonight.

Thursday morning was tasked to fix a bit of the mess that has been created. But you are already running late for work and waiting for the weekend as you need to spend time with yourself. And since the weekend is blocked, you promise to yourself that this evening things would be cleared.. In the evening, no wonder you are tired, and then there is Friday too..

But but but, my dear friends, there is more to it, remember what the post started with....

The Friday morning is a happy morning, you wait for the day to end, and facebook status reads TGIF.. No hard work today and all the tasks get dragged for the weekend..................................................................................................................

Author's Note: Yes.. I am the you in this post!

I reckon that during those growing up times kids had certain set of beliefs, including the concept of oceans
(with Shesha Chaturvedi), that breaking promises was a crime.. I wonder, if it were true should you be hanged till dead for not standing upto the mark. I made promise to my room everyday, but I stick to them only on a Sunday, which can anyday takle a backseat dependending on my schedule, however whatever state it is in, I love my room!

PS:
Writing this post was a therapeutic and beautiful experience for me. At last one post for the month of March
PPS: Refereing to the question, I will choose the Saturday.. What about you?

Please locate my Papa!

No no, I am not asking you to locate my Papa!

Its an incident that I witnessed yesternight while shopping for stuff my mum wanted me to bring along while going home. I was late, time was around 8:30 pm. I was heading towards chemist shop. Saw a cute little girl, not more than 2 years old. First glance, and all I thought was cute baby!
But hey hang on Shine! What is this cute baby doing all alone at this time in the middle of the pavement. I started noticing her and could sense that she was feeling lost. Her hand movement and gestures were as if she was really scared.

I cannot keep quite. If I feel something is wrong I ask or show or do something, I just don't care if it will lead me in soup. So what if I land up in trouble, I did not do it with a bad intent. I only wanted to help and sort things out.

That's what I did. I held her hand and asked where is your mom?? dad?? What are you doing here all alone??

She was perplexed and said that Papa went out to get the medicine.

Ok.. So do u see our papa at the two medical stores located nearby? I pointed at the medical stores nearby.

No, she said and unknowingly and confused she started walking towards a secluded end. I was sure that she has lost her way. I again held her, and clearly intending not to let her go unless I manage to find her way back home.

I asked, where do you stay?

She replied Ghanta Ghar.

Sigh, its a place known to me. What should I do now, should I call up 100 or call up my dad! I called my dad, network problem! Huh, third attempt and I got through. He picked up, and I told him, Papa there is a little girl and her father is lost somewhere. Come to this place. And then came a quick ok. I am coming, tell me where exactly are you.

The moment I hung up the call, the girl started crying. My papa is lost!

Don't worry we will locate him.

How did you come here?? Were you in a bike? or car?

I was in the car.

Ok! Who all were in the car?

Just me and my papa, she said. And now she held my hand with a belief that I am not going to harm her.

Do you know the number of your car? or your papa's mobile number or home phone number.

No I don't!

Ok, so lets locate the car first. Is that fine??

Yes, she said.

What colour is the car?

White.

Great. By this time I was confused myself. But anyhow. I started moving towards the direction where she was coming from. I asked is your car that side. She said yes!

And I could see a few men on the road, confused and trying to locate something. I wished that there should be her dad. Yeah there he was, upset, nearly about in tears! He might have asked those local shop owners about the girl and they might have told him that she stepped out of the car and went out.

The moment he saw his daughter he was relieved and asked her why did you come out of the car? He looked at me, and thanked. I said that's ok! As I turned back, I was still apprehensive if he is her dad or no. I looked back again and the expressions on his dad's face swanned that he is her dad for sure. He looked at me again and thanked again.

Great... So probably I got late, or I had to get the stuff that my mum asked for probably only to help that girl find her papa.

I called my dad, no need to come, we found her papa :D

Author's Note: I did not speak to her papa, but still he should have never left a child alone in the car! I was thinking why to get judgemental when a person in experiencing an emotional turmoil? This incident might have taught him this lesson. The first thing I did was to call up my mamaji (my mum's brother), who has a 1.5 year old child. It was a lesson that I learned, and just wanted to caution him about it.

Moreover I also noticed that no civilian these days seem to be cautious about the fact that a child is moving around without any care taker, they just want to rush home and dont care if they can be of help. They are more bothered about the soup they may land up in. Well that is what that can be expected of them. One has to fight the threat alone, but can we expect this out of a child?

P.S.: When I told my Mum about the incident. She loaded me with stories of her childhood where she lost her way, my mamaji was about to get kidnapped / lost. I was scared. Its really a big responsibility to take care of a child. We get to read frequently about the plight of people who have lost their child and never found back.
